Our Story
Founded in 1974, Chemex has spent over fifty years developing and manufacturing high-performance cleaning chemicals for the vehicle wash and industrial cleaning industries.
From our industrial scale manufacturing facility in Bridgeview, Illinois, we produce more than 200 proprietary formulations — from tunnel wash pre-soaks and drying agents to heavy-duty truck wash degreasers and USDA-approved tank wash solutions.
What sets us apart isn’t just our chemistry — it’s our commitment to partnership. Many of our customers have been with us for 15 years. That kind of loyalty isn’t built on contracts. It’s built on consistent results, responsive service, and the understanding that your success is our success.
